DJ Mr Kirk [Metal bass organisation, Hki, CBR]

Mr Kirk is one of the pioneers of the Finnish club scene. He started collecting records in 1979 and DJing in 1983. He has gone through most of the electronic music genres since those days; new romance, disco, electro, italo, house, techno and all the dozens of sub-genres. Besides DJing and collecting electronic music records he participated in organizing smaller and larger scale parties as a member of Metal Bass Organization. Some of the hottest Metal Bass Organization parties were Temple 1 (Joey Beltram), Temple 2 (Moby) and Heliopolis (Eevolute label posse). Apart from those parties he has spun the wheels of steel in San Francisco, London plus in dozens of great or totally forgettable raves in the 90s.

So what's the sound like? He mixes electro, house and techno, sometimes breaks or DnB: it's thumping dance music. The sound is pre-mainstream. It makes you wanna cry.

Expect this time tech-house and tech-breaks.
