G-Litter [LifeSaver, Hki]

Timeless is probably the closest one could get when describing the music of the Helsinki based G-Litter. Formed somewhere around 1996-97 the band has grown over the years from the original 4-piece to a multi-functional octet.

Their 12" single Paiste, the disco-flavored opening track of the CD, has already been compared to Andy Sojka's legendary jazz-funk outfit Atmosfear as well as Freez of Southern Comfort fame and was playlisted immediately after release by some of the hippiest deejays in Sweden, UK & Austria.

G-Litter play a very special brand of clubby music with a unique progressive twist. They have been compared to Air, Tommy Guerrero, Badly Drawn Boy, The Stone Roses and even Anssi Tikanmäki (the Finnish equivalent of Ennio Morricone), but their music remains hard to categorise.

In the end one thing's for sure - G-Litter is one of a kind and something completely different.
