DJ Ken-guru (Jari Tolkkinen) considers himself to be a very
versatile DJ. You may have seen him playing in various house
clubs and events around Finland, The Netherlands and Russia
but he is no stranger to other venues either.
Nowadays he holds two residencies; Club B-eat-z, a monthly
club organized by H.A.N.D DJs which is a night devoted to
quality electronic music. The other venue is Rytmimusiikkia @
NGO, a weekly club devoted to jazz, funk, house, hiphop and
deeper shades of rhythm music.
This year DJ Ken-guru will be the one warming up the big names
in the main room in Time Tunnel. When asked he was pretty
excited about this opportunity: "I have loads of favourite bands
and acts that I like very much. But seeing one of my childhood
(Ed: you're not that old!) heroes playing in my hometown and
I've been offered the opportunity to warm up for them ... Words
can't describe this feeling".
So, watch out for smooth selection of funked-up house beats
and deeper, sexier techno sounds from DJ Ken-guru.
