March B-eat-z with Lil' Tony! March b-eat-z offer a real treat for all you music lovers. It's been well over four years since Lil' Tony played his first ever gig in Oulu - in the late Undergroove club. B-eat-z with Dj Lil' Tony welcomes you to a wonderfull world of house, broken beatz and classics. The warm up slot will be covered this time by the original b-eat-z resident dj Rene. Lil' Tony (nu spirit hki / rose garden - hki) Co-owner of RoseGarden, DJ member of the Nu-Spirit Helsinki collective, long time promoter in the Helsinki club life, a true vinyl lover with an eclectic taste for good music are just some of the many sides of this true electronic music pioneer. Lil' Tony is known of his unprejudiced approach to music in general which can be said of his DJing as well. Of the more up-to-date styles his specialities are deep house, nu-jazz, Detroit influenced techno, West London broken beat, jazz-flavoured Drum & Bass. (Keep in mind, we are talking about a man with a collection of more than 8000 records). But still there's specific soft spot in his heart of which he can be quite sentimental about. "There's nothing like your first love and house music was that for me", Lil' Tony reveals. Lil' Tony's visit to b-eat-z club in Oulu is something not-to-be-missed - Tony always knows how to get the party going on. Dj Rene (h.a.n.d) Dj Rene is the one third of the h.a.n.d crew and he's known to have played in events like Aqua (´94 Eden), first Time Tunnel parties, Club Undergroove and Love Boat to name but a few.  Version excursion is the best way to define his sets... mini trips into the world of electronica. Rare re-mixes and hard to find versions form a basis of his unique style and there's a lot to choose from... his first real dj gig was back in ´85.
